Bullswool Farm Park

Come and enjoy our 100 acres of beautiful rolling farmland, very close to the wonderful Karangahake Gorge Walkway. 

Spend some time with our friendly animals that can be petted and handfed. There is bound to be an animal or two that will take your fancy; miniature horses, emus, goats, alpacas, llamas, deer, paint horses, kune-kune pigs, axolotls, miniature cattle, rabbits, rare breed chickens, ducks, coloured sheep and donkeys.

Goldfish Shop

We stock range of goldfish, bowls, aquatic plants, and supplies and have years of experience with many different types of aquatic animals.

By the way, Bullswool Farm is the home of New Zealand's largest commercial axolotl breeding operation.  Don't know what an axolotl is? Come and find out!

Accommodation

We have 'The Cottage',  a comfortable self-contained, self-catering farm apartment that sleeps two. It has a full kitchen, bathroom/ensuite, and queen-sized bed.

Just the place to base yourself for walking in the Karangahake Gorge, and enjoying the Southern Coromandel.
